Chelsea Stickney

Founding Attorney


  • Chelsea Stickney graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in English and a  minor in Business Administration. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University’s  satellite location in Tokyo, Japan. 

    As a Northern California native, Ms. Stickney returned to the Bay Area for law school. She  received her Juris Doctorate with a Business Certificate from the University of San Francisco,  School of Law in 2014. During law school, Ms. Stickney worked for the non-profit Oakland  Community Benefit District preparing and reviewing real estate contracts, and interned for the  San Francisco Public Defender’s office. After law school, Ms. Stickney worked for the Sonoma  County District Attorney’s Office as an intern at the Family Justice Center where she gained  extensive experience in the areas of domestic violence and child abuse. 

    Ms. Stickney became a family law attorney in 2015. She began her family law career in San  Jose, California and later transferred to a family law firm as an Associate Attorney in Santa  Rosa, California. Ms. Stickney held the position of Senior Associate Attorney for a local firm prior to opening North Bay Family Law in 2024.  

    Ms. Stickney has extensive experience in court and handles all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, property division, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, domestic violence, pre-nuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements.

Amanda Neal

Senior Paralegal


  • Amanda Neal graduated from Santa Rosa Junior College, Paralegal Studies Program in 2015 and  worked as a paralegal in both civil and family law before joining our firm.  She has acted as the paralegal to Ms. Stickney since 2022.

    Ms. Neal enjoys family law because of the connection that she feels towards the clients. She  enjoys assisting attorneys and clients in finding peace and resolution during the difficult  processes of divorce, custody, domestic violence, and more.  

    In her free time, Ms. Neal loves to spend time with her young adult children, snowboarding,  camping, and spending summers on the lake. 

Rachel Clift

Associate Attorney


  • Rachel Clift holds both a Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration, which brings a  unique blend of legal expertise and strategic business understanding to provide comprehensive  solutions. During law school, Ms. Clift interned at the San Francisco Public Defender's office,  gaining invaluable experience in courtroom advocacy. She also worked as a law clerk for court appointed counsel for dependency case.  Ms. Clift went on to act as a Family Law Clerk to Ms. Stickney prior to becoming licensed through the California State Bar. Ms. Clift has been an Associate Attorney for North Bay Family Law since the inception of the firm.

    Ms. Clift's experience brings a unique perspective to family law, and she is committed to  ensuring the best outcome for clients. She navigates legal issues with compassion and diligence, and takes on both family law matters and dependency court matters.

Hannah Bauer

Office Manager


  • Hannah Bauer graduated from California State University, Chico with a B.A. in Psychology and minors  in Criminal Justice, Ethics, Justice, and Policy. She serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for  children and plans to attend law school.  

    Ms. Bauer began her career in a law firm setting as a Legal Assistant, working her way up to Client Services Manager and eventually becoming the Office Manager for North Bay Family Law at the inception of the firm.

    Ms. Bauer enjoys family law because of the opportunity it brings her to foster a supportive  relationship with clients as they navigate some of their most trying times. She appreciates the  opportunity to assist the attorneys and clients in working towards a favorable resolution in complex family  law matters.  

    In her free time, Ms. Bauer is an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors.
